Responsibilities

  • Create lesson plans and teach subjects, guiding study and communication.
  • Observe students to evaluate abilities and progress.
  • Teach and mentor students individually or in groups.
  • Communicate progress with families, counselors, and administrators.
  • Document goals and progress as required by facility and state.
  • Supervise classroom and enforce rules; maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Adhere to treatment plans and participate in team meetings as requested.
  • Demonstrate empathetic, professional attitude toward patients and resolve complaints.
