Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify educational needs and develop an educational plan.
• Create lesson plans and teach students.
• Observe students to evaluate abilities and work on weaknesses.
• Teach and mentor students individually or in groups.
• Communicate progress with families, counselors, and staff.
• Prepare students for standardized tests as required by state.
• Document plans and progress as required.
• Supervise classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Develop and enforce classroom rules.
• Supervise students outside classroom.
• Adhere to treatment plans and participate in treatment team meetings.
