Job summary

Collegiate Academies is seeking a dedicated educator to support scholars through Restorative Centers, provide one-to-one tutoring, and help develop universal student policies. You’ll collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster an engaged, growth-oriented learning community.

With a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience, you’ll drive high expectations, equity, and student success in New Orleans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of professional experience with students or similar communities preferred.
• Commitment to equity and the mission of Black and Brown scholars.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement behavior intervention plans within Restorative Centers and other spaces.
• Support scholars in academic classes through one-to-one tutoring and collaboration with teachers.
• Develop universal student policies with Restorative Center leadership and broader staff.
• Maintain high expectations for all scholars using school-wide discipline systems.
• Foster positive rapport and relationships with students.
• Contribute to an engaging learning environment with measurable student goals.
• Collaborate with families to devise solutions that help each scholar succeed.
• Demonstrate flexibility and leadership in a growing organization.
