Center for Public Partnerships & Research seeks a Student Grader to support faculty by accurately evaluating History of Rock and Roll homework. You will apply rubrics, provide blog feedback, and ensure fair, timely assessments, while maintaining FERPA confidentiality.
The role requires enrollment in 6+ credit hours at the University of Kansas, with on-site, hourly work during the term. Summer and exceptions for GRA/GTA do not apply.
The Student Grader will support faculty by accurately and efficiently evaluating homework assignments for History of Rock and Roll. Graders must demonstrate strong attention to detail, consistency in applying grading standards, and the ability to provide fair, accurate, and timely assessments of student work.
Perform a wide range of duties dependent upon a unit's needs. However, such job responsibilities are not seen as critical to the completion of a graduate level degree. Must meet the enrollment guidelines as defined by the University and may be a undergraduate or graduate student. Standard hours of 1.00 is used for all positions. STN paygroup
During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
