The University of Kansas is looking for Graders in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) for the Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and Spring 2027 semesters. Graders will be responsible for grading homework and coursework of students in various EECS courses.
Candidates must be current students in the EECS department or a closely related discipline, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. The position offers flexible hours depending on student enrollment and pays between $14.00-$15.00 hourly.
The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) invites candidates to submit application materials for consideration as needs arise for Graders during the Summer 2026, Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.
100% duties include grading homework and other work performed by students in various EECS courses. The number of hours per week is dependent upon the number of students enrolled in the course.
During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or be pre‑enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or be enrolled in summer session or be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments)
