The University of Kansas EECS invites applications for grader positions for Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and Spring 2027 semesters. Graders will assess homework and assist with course materials in various EECS courses.
This pool, hourly position requires enrollment in at least 6 credit hours, with a start date of July 1, 2026, and ongoing reviews as enrollment fluctuates. Pay ranges from $14 to $15 per hour depending on qualifications.
The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) invites candidates to submit application materials for consideration as needs arise for Graders during the Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and Spring 2027 semesters.
100% of duties include grading homework and other work performed by students in various EECS courses. The number of hours per week depends on the number of students enrolled in the course. Position will be terminated if KU GPA falls below the required minimum of 3.0.
During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must:
A completed application consists of the online application and a clear indication of which courses you qualify for and would like to grade for. Please include the course number and name (e.g., EECS 388 Embedded Systems). This is a pool position to hire multiple graders. Application review begins immediately. Applications will continue to be accepted and reviewed on an ongoing basis throughout the academic year (Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and Spring 2027). Only one application is needed per academic semester.
