Job summary

Hmong College Prep Academy is hiring a Special Education Paraprofessional/Job Coach to support classroom teachers and students with IEP goals. The role is onsite and hourly, with a starting wage of $18.20–$26.00 per hour plus a prorated sign-on stipend of $1,500.

Reports to the Paraprofessional Support Manager and may include additional lanes based on position. The role requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Two years of college credits (60 credits) or an associate’s degree or higher.
• Passing ParaPro or equivalent assessment criteria as applicable.
• Ability to use PC and Microsoft applications in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• On the job training and support for students.
• Mentor students in community-based worksite activities.
• Assist in advocating and making accommodations in the workplace.
• Encourage students to try a variety of tasks and support independent living skills.
• Assist teachers to collect data and maintain records.
