Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking Special Education Paraprofessionals to provide individualized support to students receiving special education services. You’ll work alongside teachers to implement accommodations, assist in small groups, and help students develop independence.

Qualifications

• Patience, dependable, and collaborative traits are desired.
• Ability to follow teacher directions and communicate professionally.
• Willingness to assist with a range of student needs including behavioral and social supports.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in implementing IEP accommodations and instructional supports.
• Provide academic support in small groups or one-on-one.
• Support inclusion in general and specialized classrooms as needed.
• Help with behavior support plans and classroom expectations.
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to staff.
• Assist with daily living skills when required, while maintaining student dignity.
