Job summary

Alba-Golden ISD is seeking a caring Paraprofessional/Instructional Aide to support learning in a classroom setting. This position works closely with teachers to provide a safe, engaging environment that promotes student growth and development.

The role involves assisting with daily instruction, supporting students with tasks and transitions, preparing instructional materials, and supervising in classroom, cafeteria and playground while fostering positive relationships with students.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Texas Educational Aide Certificate preferred.
• Experience working with young children preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
• Patience, flexibility and a genuine passion for working with students.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with daily classroom instruction and activities.
• Support students with learning tasks, routines, and transitions.
• Help prepare instructional materials and maintain classroom organization.
• Monitor and supervise students in the classroom, cafeteria, playground.
• Assist with other campus activities/duties as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with students and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
