Education Service Center, Region 2 is seeking a Classroom Paraprofessional to support teachers in delivering instructional content. You will assist with materials, manage supply displays, and help maintain an orderly classroom.

Responsibilities include supervising students, aiding with tests, and supporting substitute teachers while following district safety protocols. The role requires a valid Texas educational aide certificate and prior experience with children.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and Texas educational aide certificate.
• Must have met formal academic assessment, associate degree, or two years of study at an institution of higher learning or TOPS training.
• Valid Texas educational aide certificate
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Help maintain neat and orderly classroom and manage equipment.
• Supervise students inside and outside classroom and assist with testing and assignments.
• Attend staff development and faculty meetings and participate in school events.
• Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
