Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at UNR.
• Valid Class C driver’s license required.
• Defensive Driving course to be completed after hire.
• Able to lift and move fire extinguishers safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Fire Extinguisher Technician with maintenance and inspection.
• Ride in the service vehicle with the technician to campus locations.
• Retrieve extinguishers and transport them to the maintenance area.
• Return serviced extinguishers to their locations.
• Read building floor plans to identify extinguisher locations.
• Tag extinguisher locations for identification and tracking.
• Drive carts safely through pedestrian areas.
