Acron Aviation is seeking motivated and innovative Software Engineering interns to join our engineering teams in St. Petersburg, Florida.

This full-time, onsite internship runs May through August and offers hands-on experience in developing, testing, integrating, and supporting software for aviation products and technologies. You'll work with experienced engineers across the software lifecycle—from requirements to deployment—gaining exposure to embedded, application, and test software within a

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Expected to have completed at least two years of undergraduate study before the internship begins.
• Foundational knowledge of software development concepts, programming, and problem-solving.
• Experience in at least one programming language.

Responsabilités

• Work under the guidance of experienced software engineers and technical team members.
• Assist with interpreting, developing, and implementing software requirements.
• Support software design, coding, debugging, testing, and documentation.
• Develop or update software requirements-based test cases and verification procedures.
• Participate in software unit, integration, and system-level testing.
• Assist with software verification and branch coverage analysis.
• Document test results, technical findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Test, Manufacturing, Quality, and other Software Engineering teams.
