Job summary

Marion Technical College is seeking a Specialist for the One Stop Student Accounts team. The role supports students, faculty, and staff with student accounts, tuition and fees, payments, refunds, and financial aid posting in the L1NK Center.

You will collaborate with Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, and other departments to provide coordinated support and improve processes. Strong Excel and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible general office, customer service, student services, accounting, financial services, or related experience; equivalent combinations may be considered.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and the ability to learn college systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate, professional One Stop assistance to students, faculty, staff, and other customers.
• Coordinate coverage with other One Stop Specialists to ensure consistent service.
• Resolve account questions, investigate discrepancies, and appropriately elevate issues.
• Direct customers to appropriate College departments and resources while knowing policies and procedures.
• Assist students in accessing MTC services, online payment systems, and student account resources.
