Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field.
• Three to five years of experience in student services in secondary, higher education, or adult learning environment.
• Knowledge of administrative procedures and practices.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, student-centered coaching to support persistence, completion, and workforce readiness for adult learners.
• Develop supportive relationships with learners and assist across all stages of their educational pathway.
• Deliver holistic advising to help students set academic and personal goals that align with career pathways.
• Connect students with tutoring, career counseling, and transfer resources.
• Monitor student progress with regular check-ins and data tracking; identify at-risk students and provide interventions.
• Guide students in navigating PCC online learning systems and educational software (e.g., D2L, Essential Education, EdReady, Burlington English).
• Collaborate with Teaching and Learning staff, college advisors, and student support teams to enhance engagement and retention.
• Design, organize, and facilitate workshops, orientations, and outreach events to build confidence and self-advocacy.
• Maintains accurate, confidential student records in alignment with FERPA and funding requirements.
• Contributes to continuous improvement of adult education programs by researching innovative practices.
• Interprets and ensures compliance with guidelines and regulatory standards established by PCC and partners.
• Resolves student services complaints and handles inquiries with professional customer service.
• Assists in implementing department procedures across campuses and IBEST programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
