Job summary

The Coliseum Events and Facilities Student Assistant at the University of West Georgia helps plan, set up, operate and break down campus and athletic events, while keeping venues clean, organized, safe, and welcoming for students, faculty, staff and visitors.

The role requires enrollment in UWG, ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and strong teamwork and customer service skills; training will cover event operations and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at UWG in a minimum of 6 credit hours and have a 2.0 or higher.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special events.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, setup, operation, and breakdown of campus events.
• Maintain university facilities; ensure spaces are clean, organized, safe, and ready for use.
• Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
