The Center for Information Technology Services (CITS) has an exciting opportunity available for a Student Enterprise Applications Associate Analyst. The selected candidate will be part of a team responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise applications, including Ellucian applications such as Banner, Self-Service Banner, Experience (student portal), Degree Works, and CRM Recruit, as well as Blackboard, Mediasite, AppWorx, and other enterprise systems. Responsibilities include application configuration, monitoring, support, troubleshooting, security, and reporting. The position requires the ability to assess current campus business practices, analyze and understand student enterprise applications, and develop solutions to implement best practices for campus business functions.

This position is eligible for a primarily remote hybrid work arrangement. While most work may be performed remotely, employees are expected to attend on-campus meetings, training sessions, team activities, and other business-related events as needed. Employees must be able to work in Maryland or one of the following contiguous jurisdictions: the District of Columbia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or West Virginia. Candidates who do not currently reside in one of these locations must be willing to relocate prior to employment. This work location requirement applies to all work arrangements, including remote and hybrid positions.


Primary Duties


Designs, configures, tests and assists in the implementation of functional aspects of enterprise-wide application software solutions. With guidance, the ability to assess current campus business practices, analyze and understand ERP software applications and develop solutions to implement best practices for campus business functions. This may entail drafting new business processes and/or developing functional specifications for enhancements to the enterprise-wide application software. Typical duties also include acting as a liaison to campus community, monitoring critical business activities, troubleshooting and resolving issues and escalating complex matters to the appropriate project resources.


Essential Functions


Designs, configures, tests, and maintains enterprise-wide software applications for business functions.


Assesses business practices and requirements and analyzes ERP software applications to evaluate available solutions.


Acts as a liaison between end users and technical team to address issues and recommend solutions.


Provides functional support of the production ERP application by working directly with campus users.


Gathers business requirements from users and creates functional designs to enhance functionality of the EPR application online pages, batch processes and/or reports.


Assists in the design and development of new business processes by applying knowledge of ERP application functionality in conjunction with understanding of organization-specific needs.


Creates and execute test plans, evaluates results and documents new features for system enhancements.


Assists in setting up and maintaining application security for campus community.


Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications


Education:Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Administration, Computer Engineering or a related field to application student applications.


Experience: Prior knowledge of enterprise resource planning application functionality preferred.


Experience with student enterprise applications and business processes that support the student lifecycle, including recruitment, admissions, enrollment, registration, advising, degree progress, student success, and graduation, is preferred.


Other: Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 undergraduate college credits being equivalent to one year of related experience. In instances where specific education and/or experience is required only directly related education and/or experience may be substituted.


This position is designated as essential, and the employee may be required to work on non-business days or outside of normal business hours to ensure the continuity of operations for information technology services.

Hiring Range: $67,500 - $75,000, c ommensurate with education and experience.
