MacKay & Somps is seeking a Civil Engineering student for the Summer 2026 Student Engineer role to support land development and public infrastructure projects across Northern California. You'll work closely with engineers, designers, and surveyors to gain hands-on experience from concept through construction.
Under the guidance of project engineers and CAD designers, you will prepare plans, assist with site grading, hydrology calculations, and quantity take-offs, while learning AutoCAD Civil 3D

While we are actively interviewing candidates for the Summer 2026 Student Engineer role, we anticipate offers being extended around February of 2027 with a June 2027 start date. Official start date to be confirmed with the successful candidate.
