Job summary

The University of Kansas at the KU Edwards Campus in the Kansas City metropolitan area is seeking a Student Hourly for the Welcome and Success Center. You will greet visitors, assist students and staff, route inquiries, and support campus resources.

This role also includes helping with scheduling, campus outreach, and maintaining accurate campus information. In addition, you will collaborate on event planning and design tasks, create promotional materials, and manage social media content for

Qualifications

• GPA of at least 2.5 required.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and connect them with campus resources.
• Assist students and staff with locating services.
• Answer calls and route inquiries to appropriate offices.
• Distribute KU ID cards and diplomas.
• Check in students for appointments.
• Learn campus resources and policies to assist students.
• Schedule advising appointments and other services.
• Support outreach and follow-up campaigns.
• Assist in event planning and design tasks.
• Create promotional materials and social media content.
• Update digital signage and flyers across campus.
• Help with major events like Hawk Week and Commencement.
• Contribute to the monthly newsletter.
