Job summary

UC Irvine seeks a skilled program administrator to manage SOAR signature programs and events, advising the Native American Recruitment & Retention Initiative (NARRI) and coordinating campus visit activities.

You will supervise a team of eight student employees, oversee equipment like laptop loans, and ensure smooth operation of SOAR initiatives with strong organizational and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, student affairs, counseling, communications, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience coordinating programs, events, or student-focused initiatives in higher education or community settings.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, and guide student employees or interns.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with multiple programs and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate SOAR programs and events.
• Advise NARRI and oversee campus visit programs.
• Manage laptop loan program with tracking and troubleshooting in partnership with IT.
• Supervise a team of eight student employees (3 staff, 5 interns).
• Coordinate student programming and day-to-day operations of SOAR initiatives.
