Job summary

Instituto del Progreso Latino seeks a Student Engagement Coordinator to support day-to-day operations, greet visitors, and drive engagement for prospective and current students. You will coordinate recruitment events, orientations, and pre-admission activities with a focus on a welcoming, student-centered experience.

The role emphasizes collaboration with faculty and staff to enhance engagement, under the supervision of the Director of Student Financial Affairs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of higher education, pre-admissions, customer service, or office administration experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Student Financial Affairs and staff.
• Serve as first point of contact for prospective students, visitors, and staff.
• Coordinate recruitment events, orientations, information sessions, and campus activities.
• Analyze operational data and prepare dashboards and reports for leadership.
• Assist with pre-admission services and ensure a student-centered experience.
