Irrigation of greenhouses and gardens including weekends. 2. Transplanting and propagating of collections and crops. 3. Plant sales, customer relations, money handling. 4. Maintenance: weeding, cleaning, installations, mulching, deliveries. 5. Record keeping of crops, deliveries, chemical applications. 6. Perform related duties as assigned.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** 1. GPA of 2.0 or above.2. Must be enrolled at JJC in at least 6 credit hours during fall/spring semester. 3. Completing a Horticulture Degree. 4. Willingness to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. 5. Good oral/written communication, organization and time management skills6. Demonstrated multicultural competence.**PHYSICAL DEMANDS** • Lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, bend down to pull weeds or plant, do stairs.**WORKING CONDITIONS** • Duties are performed in greenhouses with possible wet floors, high or low temperatures, and high humidity.
