Position Summary

The Office of Advancement is seeking a motivated and creative student to support the programs and objectives of the Advancement Office, specifically Annual Giving, including four mini campaigns, the Annual Day of Giving Campaign and event, and the day-to-day operational support of donor relations and engagement.

This position offers a unique opportunity for a student interested in marketing, communications, non-profit management, or digital media to gain hands‑on experience contributing to live campaigns. While the student will primarily work with the Annual Giving Director, they will have the opportunity to collaborate with an entire team of fundraising professionals and gain hands‑on experience for their resume or CV.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of four email, digital and mass mailing mini campaigns throughout the year.
  • Support internal data collection and posting to Raiser’s Edge, the Advancement CRM .
  • Calendar and process monthly requirements, such as donor birthday cards, New Employee Orientation packets, etc.
  • Manage Advancement social media platforms under the supervision of the Annual Giving Director or Annual Giving intern.
  • Serve as a vital member of the Advancement team, assisting with event set-up, administrative details and creative brainstorming
  • Assist with basic analytics tracking and reporting
  • Serve as a front desk receptionist for the department
  • Other duties as assigned by the Annual Giving Director

Education, Certifications and/or Licenses

Experience

  • Junior preferred to work for two years with a major in Business, Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field, or interest in non-profit management. If you are not a junior, but inerested, please feel free to apply.
