Job summary

The Information Systems Specialist at De Soto Unified School Dist will manage the district's student information and business office systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across electronic information systems supporting operations.

You will collect and analyze data, prepare state reports, and deliver software demonstrations to help staff use these systems effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• At least five years of experience managing a Skyward SMS or Qmlativ SIS.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Advanced skills with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Prefer experience with database management and report writing.
• Strong communication skills both written and oral.
• Willingness to learn new information and concepts.
• Strong follow-through on tasks and projects.
• Self-starter with proven reliability and personal integrity.
• Current Certificate of Health on file in the district office.
• Completion of clear, criminal background check.
