Job summary

The University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC) in Seattle is seeking a part-time Student Assistant in the Kidney, Liver, Lung, Transplantation & Living Donor Services department. The role offers 10 to 19.5 hours per week during the school year, and up to full-time during the summer quarter, performing general office tasks and data entry for transplant operations.

You will enter data from the Electronic Medical Records system (Epic), update logs and databases, and assist with record series

Qualifications

• Experience with data entry from electronic records.
• Ability to prepare information for regulatory forms and audits.
• Familiarity with updating logs, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Support in records retention schedule updates.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into records management software from Epic.
• Prepare clinical information for regulatory forms and audits.
• Review invoices for labs and Bloodworks Northwest.
• Submit information to regulatory agencies.
• Request copies of forms from Organ Procurement Organizations and tax agencies.
• Review and prepare charts for transplant financial counselor appointments.
