Job summary

Charter Schools USA Inc. in Florida is seeking a Student Records and Data Specialist to collect and enter student data into SIS and enrollment systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and district requirements. You will work with school leaders and CSUSA teams to support funding and reporting.

Responsibilities include data entry for attendance, transcripts, FRL data, and state reporting, plus coordinating with departments to optimize PowerSchool integration and year-end processes.

Qualifications

• Has ability to use social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) and digital marketing to promote the school and CSUSA.
• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SIS, and email communications.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local requirements for K-12 schools and charter school law preferred.
• Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills: oral, written, interpersonal (active listening).
• Punctuality, following instructions, and accepting management direction.
• Good knowledge of company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Leads by example with CSUSA values and ethical conduct.
• Follows through on duties and projects; participates in training.

Responsibilities

• Enter daily attendance and maintain accurate attendance reports in SIS and district systems.
• Assist in End of Year and Start of Year processes in the SIS.
• Manage student records including transcripts, immunizations, grades, and schedules.
• Coordinate with CSUSA and district departments to ensure PowerSchool integration for optimal system usage.
• Respond to information requests and maintain confidentiality per FERPA and policy.
• Monitor data quality and ensure compliance with state and district reporting requirements.
