North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) is seeking a part-time Associate Consumer Service Coordinator in the San Fernando Valley (Chatsworth, CA). The role provides information, advocacy, and service coordination for individuals and families under enhanced supervision, totaling 16 hours per week over two days.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in a Health and Human Services-related field.
• Must have two professional letters of recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, monitoring, and evaluation of basic program plans for individuals, with guided coaching and supervisory oversight.
• Identify and coordinate services for individuals and families, focusing on basic, non-complex cases.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including forms and reports, in compliance with NLACRC policies.
• Advocate on behalf of individuals receiving services through community agencies.
• Schedule and participate in interdisciplinary meetings with individuals served, their families, service providers, and advocates.
• Identify barriers to service delivery and implement culturally responsive strategies.
