Job summary

Insights Training Group, LLC in Cincinnati seeks a Student Personnel Officer to provide support to the Student Personnel Officer, manage the Center’s Behavior Management System, and train staff and students in the system while meeting with Student Government to assess needs.

The role includes orientation, handling infractions, maintaining records, coordinating hearings, and serving as a liaison with juvenile and law enforcement agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Juvenile Justice or Human Services.
• Experience in handling disciplinary matters and working with youth is preferred.
• Valid State Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in orientation of new students to the disciplinary system.
• Discuss infractions of Center rules with individual students.
• Maintain weekly restriction lists and disciplinary records.
• Maintain each student’s disciplinary record and related documents.
• Inform students of hearings and required procedures.
• Coordinate with Juvenile and law enforcement agencies as needed.
• Support the Student Personnel Officer and act as Manager/Officer when required.
• Ensure compliance with safety practices and Center policies and procedures.
