Job summary

Kellogg Center, via Culinary Services, seeks an organized and engaging Aide to support the Associate Director of Community and Engagement with projects and initiatives. You will assist with meeting prep, interview team members, analyze data, and help develop trainings while creating PowerPoint presentations.

Open to MSU students; work hours typically align with campus schedules, including some evenings and weekends in summer.

Culinary Services (CS) is seeking an organized, driven, and engaging individual to support the Associate Director of Community and Engagement with various projects and initiatives as a CS Community and Engagement Aide.

Typical duties may include

• Organizing and assisting with the preparation of meetings
• Conducting interviews of Student and On-Call team members
• Reviewing and analyzing statistical data
• Supporting development of Culinary Services trainings
• Creating and refining PowerPoint presentations
• Other tasks and projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Enrolled as an MSU student during the Fall and Spring semesters
• Availability to work summers, some nights and weekends
• Demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service, with a strong desire to deliver outstanding Spartan experiences ( DOSE ) to both guests and team members
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and a positive and respectful demeanor, especially when working with a diverse population
• Strong work ethic and demonstrated character
• Motivated self-starter able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Responsibility for work and self
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify trends
