Job summary

Spring ISD is seeking a Career Prep Student to assist the Communications Department in daily clerical tasks at the ADMIN BLDG, Houston, TX. The role is part-time (nonexempt) with a minimum of 15 hours per week.

Ideal candidates are current Spring ISD juniors or seniors, preferably in Media Tech or Graphic Design pathways, who can use English accurately and perform basic office functions. Responsibilities include supporting event setups, filing, data entry and routine communications, while

Qualifications

• Must be a Spring ISD junior or senior high school student.
• Preferred: Media Tech or Graphic Design Pathway student.
• Use correct spelling, grammar and punctuation in all communications.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations and file accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Communications Department workers with daily functions.
• Help with setting up events.
• Must work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Other duties as assigned.
