Job summary

The Instructional Coach will play a pivotal role in improving student outcomes by supporting teachers in implementing effective, evidence-based instruction. Using a student-centered coaching model, the coach will collaborate with educators to develop strategies, analyze data, and provide professional development aligned with district curricula.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid Indiana teaching license.
• Minimum of 3 years of successful secondary classroom teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide student-centered coaching to 9–12 teachers through modeling, co-teaching, observation, and feedback.
• Support instruction aligned to district curricula and standards.
• Analyze assessment data to identify student needs and guide instructional planning.
• Develop targeted action plans to address learning gaps and monitor student progress.
• Lead professional development workshops and PLCs.
• Coordinate with admins to integrate coaching into School Improvement Plan.
• Collaborate with counselors and interventionists on instructional supports.
