Job summary

ReNEW Schools in Indiana seeks an Elementary Math Coach to lead and support K–6 mathematics instruction, modeling best practices, and guiding teachers toward data-driven improvement.

The role collaborates with district leaders, builds curriculum alignment, analyzes assessment data, and coordinates CFAs and coaching cycles. Grant-funded through Lilly Endowment, Indiana licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required.
• Valid Indiana teaching license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of classroom mathematics teaching experience.
• Experience leading professional development or coaching.
• Experience using formative and summative data to drive instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide student-centered coaching to K–6 math teachers through modeling, co-teaching, observation, and actionable feedback.
• Support teachers in implementing standards-based lessons aligned to district curricula.
• Assist staff in analyzing formative and summative assessment data to identify student needs and inform instruction.
• Develop targeted action plans with goals to address identified math gaps and monitor student progress.
• Support the effective use of data platforms, such as EES Innovation, to streamline assessment, reporting, and instructional planning.
• Spend 75% of the time in coaching cycles.
