Qualifications

• State Certification as required for position.

• Bachelor's and Masters Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in School Administration.
• Sixth year, doctorate, or other planned program in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers school programs aligned with district goals.
• Leads evaluation and improvement of educational programs and curricula.
• Promotes a safe environment conducive to student learning.
• Ensures policies and procedures are implemented at the school.
• Keeps professional knowledge up-to-date through seminars and research.
• Encourages staff development and innovative teaching approaches.
• Manages record-keeping for student activities and attendance.
• Coordinates with central office on staffing and HR issues.
• Organizes regular meetings for staff development.
• Oversees budgetary and financial affairs of the school.
