Job summary

Northeast Ohio College Preparatory School, part of ACCEL Schools, seeks an experienced Principal for the Cleveland campus to lead instructional and administrative operations and advance student achievement. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related discipline required.
• Current valid Principal license.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a full-time teaching role; two+ years in urban school leadership.
• Experience with accountability, compliance and related legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional design and practice, direct assessment data use, and blended learning where available.
• Develop and implement instructional programs, observe classes, and provide professional development.
• Ensure high achievement and meet Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) goals.
• Manage daily operations, facilities, budget, and student recruitment/retention.
• Engage with parents, staff, and the community to foster a positive school culture.
