Laneville ISD seeks an innovative, student-driven leader for Superintendent of Schools beginning approximately November 1, 2026. Laneville ISD is a small district in Rusk County, Texas with about 125 students and 30 employees, offering Pre-K through 12th grade and strong academic and extracurricular programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in educational administration from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of leadership in school administration.
• Experience as a high school administrator preferred.
• Prior experience in a Texas school district preferred.
• Valid Texas Superintendent Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and guide district-wide instructional programs to improve student achievement.
• Collaborate with the board and community to plan curriculum and district improvement plans.
• Prepare reports and assist the board in evaluating programs’ effectiveness.
• Manage district personnel, supervision, and evaluation processes.
• Develop and oversee district operations, communications, and staff development.
