Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training.
• Demonstrated competency in the core subject area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans reflecting district curriculum requirements.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials aligned with TEA guidelines and student needs.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to adapt curricula for IEPs.
• Set instructional goals with colleagues and supervise instructional aides/volunteers.
• Maintain reports and records required by the district.
