Job summary

You will develop the Campus Improvement Plan, align staff development with district goals, and ensure compliance with accountability systems while serving as the face of the campus to parents and the community. The role requires collaboration, integrity, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or related field.
• Valid Texas Mid-Management or Principal Certification.
• Advancing Educational Leadership (AEL) certificate or ILD/ILT or must be obtained within 3 months of start date as designated by the Department of School Leadership.
• Board Approved T-TESS Certification or must be obtained within 3 months of start date as designated by the Department of School Leadership.
• Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience as an assistant principal, associate principal or dean of instruction.
• Minimum of 2 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide campus instructional leadership and define the campus vision.
• Develop and update the Campus Improvement Plan with the leadership team.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal accountability systems.
• Implement, communicate, and monitor RTI expectations to staff, parents, and students.
• Direct campus staff development and ensure effective classroom instruction.
• Oversee and monitor discipline management and school culture.
• Interview, hire, and develop high-quality staff.
• Coordinate campus operations including budget, facilities, and safety.
