Phillips Exeter Academy seeks an on-call evening/weekend staff member to oversee the Academy Center activities and facilities. You will supervise students, coordinate setup for events, ensure cleanliness and safety, and maintain a visible presence during shifts on campus.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some college experience helpful.
• Experience working with adolescents in an educational setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises students in the building, including those in the day student lounge.
• Engages with students in a professional and friendly manner, reminding them to clean up after themselves and addressing any behavior issues as appropriate.
• Checks condition of rooms and equipment upon arrival and departure, straightens and cleans up as necessary.
• Maintains a visible presence in the building throughout the shift, walking through the building every half hour.
• Helps supervise dances, parties or other special events both in Academy Center and at other venues on campus as needed.
• Keeps up-to-date on emergency procedures and is prepared to implement when necessary.
• Assists with set up of rooms and audiovisual equipment as needed.
• Assists in securing the building at the end of each shift.
• Performs data entry and/or word processing as requested.
• Reports any damage or unsafe conditions to the Director.
• Communicates with colleagues by using the Building Log on a regular basis.
