Phillips Exeter Academy seeks an On-Call Evening/Weekend Staff for the Academy Center to supervise students and ensure safe, orderly operations during evenings and weekend shifts. The role covers after-hours activities, events, and daily building oversight on campus.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, including setup of rooms and AV equipment, while maintaining professional conduct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some college experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervises students in the building, including those in the day student lounge.
• Engages with students in a professional and friendly manner and addresses behavior issues.
• Checks condition of rooms and equipment on arrival/departure and cleans as needed.
• Maintains a visible presence in the building during shifts, touring every half hour.
• Helps supervise dances, parties or other events on campus.
• Assists with setup of rooms and audiovisual equipment as needed.
• Reports any damage or unsafe conditions to the Director.
• Communicates with colleagues via the Building Log regularly.
