Job summary

University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point invites applications for the CST Student Manager, a student hourly role within University Centers Operations. The role schedules, coordinates, and supervises event services, hires, trains, and evaluates student staff, and works with Center staff to meet service needs.

You will report to the University Centers Events Coordinator and may work up to 20 hours per week, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Leadership, organizational abilities, and strong communication are required.
• Ability to supervise staff and work with limited supervision.
• Willingness to work early mornings, weeknights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and supervision for the Centers Services Team for event set-up, basic technical equipment usage, and customer service.
• Coordinate hiring, supervision, scheduling, training, and evaluation of Centers Services Team.
• Maintain personnel records including hiring materials, evaluations, and disciplinary logs.
• Oversee payroll processes for the team including bi-weekly timecards in Workday.
