Job summary

ADAMS AND ASSOCIATES INC in Edinburgh, IN is seeking a Safety & Security Manager to lead the Center's Safety & Security Department and protect students and staff. You will supervise staff, coordinate investigations, and ensure compliance with DOL and company safety directives.

Responsibilities include developing annual safety plans, overseeing risk assessments, training, and incident reporting to improve the safety program and outcomes for the Center and its community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or related certifications preferred.
• Minimum of three years experience in military, law enforcement or safety management required.
• OSHA Certification required.
• Must possess a valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements.
• DOL approval required if reporting to the Center Director.

Responsibilities

• Follows integrity guidelines and ensures no manipulation of student data.
• Center-wide security and the coordination and execution of the Center's safety program.
• Interviews, hires, disciplines, terminates and evaluates the employees in the Safety & Security Department.
• Develops required annual plans for submission to the Department of Labor.
• Complies with DOL/Company reporting requirements.
• Coordinates and documents Center's Safety Committee and OSHA compliance program.
• Oversees student/staff safety awards program.
• Documents, analyzes and summarizes safety/security data and takes appropriate actions.
• Coordinates staff coverage to ensure student areas are supervised.

Skills
