Job summary

Seattle University seeks a Career Engagement Coordinator to support Career Engagement programs, services, and student outreach across campus.

You will collaborate with Career Education, Employer Engagement, and leadership to deliver engaging services, coordinate events, and promote resources for students and recent alumni. The role emphasizes inclusive service, data tracking, and adapting to evolving digital tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in student services, higher education, career services, recruiting, communications/marketing, event or program coordination, customer service, or related area.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects, programs, events, or deadlines.
• Commitment to Seattle University’s Jesuit mission and values and inclusive student support.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, drop-in, and group career support for students across academic disciplines.
• Assist students with resumes, cover letters, interviewing, networking, internship and job searches, career exploration, and use of Career Engagement resources.
• Coordinate Career Engagement programs, workshops, events, and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain program calendars, project timelines, participation information, and other shared team resources.
• Draft and distribute newsletters, emails and promote programs and events; support digital communications.
• Support maintenance of Handshake, ConnectSU, Redhawk Hub and other career resources; assist with data collection.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
