Job summary

Montana State University is seeking a Career Development Coordinator to lead employment support, internship development, and career preparation for LIFE Scholars, working with students, employers, and families toward integrated employment outcomes.

The role also builds employer partnerships and helps design onboarding and mentoring processes for the program while developing campus and community internship placements and documenting student experiences.

Qualifications

• Source employment opportunities and support students with resumes, applications, and paperwork.
• Coordinate with employer supervisors to identify and implement workplace supports.
• Develop internship placements on campus and in the community.
• Build student career profiles documenting work experience and skills gained.
• Prepare supervisors and mentors for student onboarding and support.
• Design a repeatable process for site observations, task analysis, and student matching.
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Experience with employment, internship, or transition-to-employment services.
