Job summary

Lebanon School District in Lebanon, PA is seeking a Career Support Specialist to help students build career readiness through individualized and group coaching, resume and essay development, and interview preparation.

You will collaborate with teachers, school counselors, administrators, and families to guide students toward four pathways: four-year universities, community colleges, vocational programs, and direct workforce entry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• PDE certification required in PA.
• Proven communication and instructional strategies.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Enhanced knowledge of instruction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group career coaching sessions using Smart Futures.
• Help students prepare resumes, application essays, and professional interviews.
• Guide students through pathways: four-year universities, community colleges, vocational programs, and direct workforce entry.
• Assist with career-readiness workshops, panels, and guest speaker sessions.
• Collaborate with counselors, teachers, administrators, and families to align career planning with academic progress.
• Provide basic guidance on financial aid resources, FAFSA, trade grants, and local scholarships.
• Maintain accurate student career-readiness data and confidentiality.
• Coordinate field trips to colleges and career programs.
