Job summary

Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi is seeking a Case Manager in Care & Assistance to support students with holistic case management across health, housing, and finances. You will work with University Housing, Dean of Students, and campus partners to coordinate services and reduce barriers to student success.

The role emphasizes crisis response, outreach, and data-informed program improvements, including training for staff and faculty to support distressed students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Five years of related professional experience in case management or student support services.
• Experience in crisis management and student support.
• Experience facilitating training or presentations for students, staff, or faculty.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; familiarity with web-based applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic case management services addressing health, housing, financial, and wellness concerns.
• Coordinate wraparound services with housing and campus partners.
• Conduct needs assessments and develop action plans with students.
• Maintain confidential records compliant with FERPA and policies.
• Collaborate with campus departments and community resources for referrals.
• Communicate with faculty and parents to minimize academic disruption.
