Job summary

The University of Rochester seeks a CARE Case Manager to support students with academic, personal, and health challenges, coordinating services and resources. You will assess needs, implement action plans, and collaborate with the CARE director and campus partners to promote student well-being and safety.

Responsibilities include managing referrals, documenting interventions, contributing to CARE programming, and providing trainings and outreach across campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in college or counseling setting or relevant experience required.
• Master's degree in higher education administration, student affairs, counseling, or related field preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting students with mental health presentations, various disability statuses, and/or diverse identities of race, class, gender, sexual orientation, or nationality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides strengths-based assessment, intervention, and coordination of services to students experiencing academic, personal, and/or medical difficulties.
• Coordinates with the Director of CARE, other faculty and staff, and parents or community members to develop supportive plans.
• Liaises between the Office of the Dean of Students and campus departments to support student wellbeing and referrals.
• Provides leadership to CARE Team and Student Support Network meetings.
• Oversees CARE Network administration and participates in ODOS activities.
• Occasional evening and weekend hours.
