Capstone On-Campus Management (COCM) is seeking a Student Maintenance Assistant at ASU Downtown Phoenix. The role supports preventative maintenance in Gordon Commons and Fusion on First, with duties that include front desk tasks, basic repairs, and moving support.

The position is restricted to current ASU Downtown Phoenix students, residency in partner residences, and involves up to 20 hours per week at $15.15 per hour. Benefits are not included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current student at ASU Downtown Phoenix.
• Must be a resident of ASU Gordon Commons or ASU Fusion of First.
• Demonstrate proficiency in verbal communication.
• Must have troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience living on college campus or similar group housing setting.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and navigate stairs.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the grounds.
• Replacing air filters.
• Replacing smoke detector and thermostat batteries.
• Distributing items to resident rooms.
• On-call rotation for fall and spring semesters and breaks.
• Operate front desk, answer calls, log packages and mail, manage keys and maintenance requests.
• Assist with plumbing issues, cleaning spills, mopping, and water extraction.
• Assist with move-in and move-out and campus early arrival.
