Job summary

Central Arizona College is seeking a Facilities Assistant III at the Maricopa Campus to perform custodial tasks across classrooms, restrooms, offices and common areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment. The role requires two years of related experience, ability to read, write and perform basic math, and a valid Arizona driver license.

Wage range is $16.99–$18.01 per hour with rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and perform math calculations.
• Experience in custodial maintenance and safety procedures.
• Must have or be able to obtain an Arizona Driver License and be insurable to drive College vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial tasks across campus facilities (classrooms, restrooms, offices, common areas).
• Relock doors/windows and maintain safety and security.
• Inspect areas for cleanliness and report issues; assist with setup for events.
• Participate in end-of-semester cleanup and stock supplies.
• Operate basic hand/power equipment and assist in minor maintenance tasks.
• Perform duties commensurate with position and participate in committee work.
