Job summary

Mercer University on the Atlanta campus seeks an Audio Visual Assistant to handle delivery, setup, operation, and breakdown of A/V equipment. You will train users on LCD projectors, DVD players, and simple audio systems, while delivering excellent customer service to students, faculty and staff.

Scheduled hours total 20 per week with a start date of 08/28/2026 and end date of 05/14/2027. The role requires dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including

Qualifications

• On-campus A/V support experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills due to direct interaction with faculty and students.
• Ability to set up, operate, and breakdown A/V equipment and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and pickup of A/V equipment on campus.
• Provide instruction on proper use and setup of A/V equipment and sound systems.
• Operate and breakdown A/V systems and perform simple maintenance as needed.
• Work with students, faculty and staff; perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
