Job summary

Augusta University is seeking an Audio/Visual Technologist 2 to support instructional technologies and AV equipment. This full-time position entails setting up and troubleshooting various AV systems and collaborating with faculty and students. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience in customer service.

This role also involves training student AV support workers and possibly working evenings or weekends as needed. Benefits include health insurance, paid holidays, and tuition assistance eligibility after six months of employment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of related experience.
  • Experience in higher education and/or hospital environments is preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate a variety of AV systems including video conferencing.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of AV equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve tier 1-2 level hardware and software issues.
