Job summary

Fairmont State University seeks a Building Supervisor for Falcon Center to oversee operations when professional staff are unavailable. You will open/close the facility, supervise recreation areas, and manage daily cash deposits, ensuring safety and smooth daily workflows.

The role requires customer service focus, strong communication, and the ability to learn work-order software. Availability for early mornings, evenings and weekends is needed.

Qualifications

• Professional, friendly, and customer service oriented.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Learn and operate computer software used for submission of work orders and other daily tasks.
• Must possess managerial skills.
• Possess conflict resolution skills and decision-making abilities.
• Will be required to work early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
• Must possess current CPR, AED, First Aid certification or be willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for building operations in absence of professional staff throughout the academic year and seasonal breaks – delegate daily workflow and supervise areas as needed in Falcon Center recreation areas.
• Responsible for the opening and closing of the Falcon Center throughout the year.
• Responsible for emergency building procedures, including fire alarms and documenting injuries, incidents and accidents.
• Responsible for the management of daily cashflow and daily deposits.
